Today, Mrs A came to teach us specific skills related to making small figurines out of clay. We all made our own version of a fish, with an emphasis on including exaggerated features. We learnt that for the clay to stick to another piece we needed to, "scratch, scratch, wet it and attach it".
All our fish are unique and we can't wait to see them after they have been fired in a kiln and glazed.

History Of Voting Mind Map
This term we are studying Australian History, especially the history of democracy in Australia. After watching this BTN video on voting we created our first Mind Mup to show what we had learnt.

Learning how to give directions
Last week, we practised giving specific directions to each other, to make our way through a maze, while we were blind folded. Some of the language we used included:
Left/Right
Forwards/Backwards
Mini step
Turn/Go
Straight
Stop
We tried to give compass points (north, south, east west) as directions but it was difficult to do this accurately whilst unable to see around us.
