Some deep thinking about our learning this term.

Senior S have experienced many learning opportunities this term and in the last week they were asked to reflect on the term as a whole and what in particular they remember. Many students were interested in the study of Australian History and especially the political process of how laws are made. The students have written about their learning in this area on their own student blogs which can be found here.

Debating

Our class further developed their ability to be persuasive by studying and practising how to conduct and argue effectively in a debate. This became our writing focus for the final weeks of term and connected strongly with the students' experiences with Australian politics and the debating that they have seen in parliament.

Our Penultimate week for Term 3

Some of us went to the district basketball competition, where the girls did an awesome job as their first time playing as a team, and the boys were the champions of the competition.
