Algorithms and Sorting Networks

This week in maths we were learning about algorithms and on Tuesday we were doing sorting networks. On Tuesday we watched a video on how to draw and do sorting networks. After we watched the video we got into groups and we drew up the lines and we picked numbers and started flowing the lines to get all the numbers in order from smallest to largest. Algorithms and sorting networks are similar because they are both like a process of steps - Alex
It's also like an introduction to computer science and programming - Jasmine
It also helps to exercise our brain - Peter
These types of maths subjects can help you organise things, like files - Ryan
Algorithms helped us with the order of problems - Will H.
They help us to learn how things get sorted and help us sort out things - Bridie
