Sustainable Art - Bird Feeders
Over the last 2 weeks, we made bird feeders in Art, using old plastic containers and bottles and bark we found around our gardens. Some of us made a bird feeder (or bird hotel) with a partner and some of us chose to make one on our own.

The Global Goals
This week we are finishing our presentations of the 17 global goals. These goals were developed by the United Nations and are focused on the Sustainable Development of our world. They are very relevant to our Inquiry learning this term, as nearly half the goals target environmental sustainability.
We worked in groups of 3 or 4 across the whole level and used a five point thinking process as well as research the goal we had been assigned.
The thinking process is:
- What do I think?
- What do others think?
- What does the world think?
- What does the Catholic Church think?
(Research)
5. Now, what do I think?
We then created some very original and interesting presentations that explained each of the goals to the other Seniors.
