This week is Book Week and the theme of the week is "One World, Many Stories". This morning the preps and grade 1/2's spent some time in the library, listening to family stories. We were inspired to write some stories of our own. Some are based on time spent with our families and others are stories that members of our family have told us.
When you listen to these stories what do you think of?

I liked listening to the stories that traveled around the world.
ReplyDeleteI loved listening to your family stories Junior M. When I hear your stories I think about what a great country Australia is with people coming from all over the world (like some of your parents and grandparents) with so many interesting and special family stories.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
From Mrs Kennedy
It was wonderful to be in class with you all today and hear your many and very interesting stories. Even though you guys are 7 and 8 years old, already your memories and those of your relatives are forming such wonderful stories for us all to share. When you share your stories with other people, they remember. Just a few of the things I read about: Bassy and his cousins; Lauren and her -brownie mum ; Joe and how he saved his mum's life; Jabob and his Nan's Eucharist; Amelia's fantastic trip to Port Douglas; James' Dad's life.
ReplyDeleteWell Done Junior M - I can't wait to read more of your fabulous stories.
Hi Junior M
